...so we're caught up on that. As near as I can remember, here are the last two days:
- Both days were slow and started late...between 1400 and 1500 hundred. Yesterday involved a shortened bath, because Mom was up once, cleaned, so was her bed, then went back.
- Two meals each day because both days Mom has taken naps and so, I am surprised to confess, have I. Long, luxurious naps in which I dream peacefully, mostly on the sofa with the sun shining on me.
- Both breakfasts have been normal with the substitution of banana bread for normal low-carb, whole wheat bread.
- Dinner on Friday was: Oh, yeah, burnt tuna sandwiches and MCS's bread & butter pickles.
- Last night, neither of us was particularly hungry, although yesterday involved significantly less sleep by both of us. We watched a variety of films, mostly musicals, culminating in Amadeus very late in the evening. I think Mom's light went out at 0200 today. I slept on the couch from 0225 until 0650, moved to my bedroom and slept further until 0900.
- As I type this, Mom is still asleep.
- What did we have for dinner last night, Saturday (which I kept thinking was Sunday)? We both snacked throughout the evening, as I recall, different things. For "Lunch" Mom had a small plate full of a mixture of peanuts and Macadamia nuts. Oh, yeah, later, with her pills (no third pills of anything yesterday), I made her a warmed cheese sandwich on dark Bavarian Sweet Wheat bread. She refused condiments of any kind.
- There was a Bowel Movement yesterday when we were bathing her, probably around 1400: Volume: Fairly good; Consistency: Not sure. I forgot to clean her, which we discovered later, and she was very clean then, so this leads me to believe that the consistency was excellent; Elimination: Very easy, as usual; Clean-up: Well, I didn't do one but, later, it appeared that one hadn't really been necessary.
- Overall, Mom has seemed an easy touch for lethargic leanings, she has certainly appreciated me napping throughout the days, but spirited when awake. I'm not sure what will happen today. I'm not even sure when she'll be up; or if I'll determine that.
