P.M. Blood Glucose:
    Time:  2115
    Reading:  115

Medication Change:  Forwent third breathing treatment, as she retired only three hours after the end of her second breathing treatment.
Dinner:  Two KFC Original Recipe thighs; One full ear of corn, nuked, with margarine, salt and pepper.
Bowel Movement:  Occurred during bathing. Excellent volume; excellent consistency; easy elimination; mildly challenging clean-up.
    Miscellaneous Observations:
  • It seems as though the beefed up orange juice in the morning is taking care of her low blood glucose readings in the evening.
  • Since Mom has been home from the hospital/intermediary care center/rehab facility her bowel movements have been much easier to flush; I haven't yet had to fish any of them out, even those of "excellent volume". Perhaps the pneumonia she had was stealing moisture from the rest of her body and the amount of fluid I was giving her, which was in keeping with what I'm giving her now, was too little. As well, I'm sure that she was under hydrated at all the medical facilities in which she was housed.
