Medication Changes:
  • 2nd day of 10-day course of Levaquin 500 mg 1/day
  • Skipped 3rd breathing treatment (with some reservation) because she wasn't up long enough to take the third. Because she was so tired she was nodding off in her rocker, I decided not to try to keep her up any longer to get the breathing treatment in.
Dinner:Croissant, sausage, egg & cheese sandwiches with 1 scoop each of lemon sorbet and wild berry gelato for dessert.
Miscellaneous Notes:  It seems that the diagnosis of pneumonia was probably correct. Her thick tongue had reversed itself by "morning". Her strength is back, probably as it was before but I didn't want to take any chances so we used the wheel chair all day. Transfers were easy. More is reported at the current movement journal. She is definitely feeling better. The feet edema remains but is slowly reversing itself.
Sleep:
  • Up at 1400
  • Down for nap at 1745
  • Up from nap at 2045
  • Down for night at 0030
  • Awake 7.5 hours
