Bowel Movement(s): Pretty much every time she sat on the toilet, which would have been four times throughout the day, she eliminated some. All were the same: Fairly poor volume; thin, soft consistency; very easy elimination (mostly she wasn't aware she was eliminating); pretty challenging clean-up. There were also fecal stains on her paper underwear each time we changed them (I change them every time she goes to the bathroom).
Medication Changes: I was so freaked by her weakness and her low blood pressure that morning (both of which have been known to accompany a drop in hemoglobin or some other chemical problem) that, about 1/2 hour before dinner, I gave her 2.5 mg metaclopramide, just to make sure she didn't up-chuck her food. Her appetite was excellent, as usual.
Dinner: 2 KFC Original Recipe thighs; about 3/4 cup KFC Macaroni & Cheese with added Mrs. Dash's Southwest Chipotle seasoning; about 2/3 cup KFC cole slaw; about 3/4 cup home made peach cobbler with about 1/2 cup freshly whipped cream. I want to add here that I was concerned about the cleansing effect the prune juice had finally had on her and made sure she had a high electrolyte dinner. As well, I have decided to eliminate the daily prune juice and give it to her only when I would normally give her Phillip's Milk of Magnesia.
